Testimonials

"We got the package today. LOVE IT!!! Gabby tried it on immediately and like I guessed, didn't want to take it off. I am so excited for her to wear it to her birthday party!" -Lauren Goodman Schultz

"Hi! I got the shirts yesterday. They are so cute. I love them! I have looked everywhere for cute big sister and little sister shirts and could not find anything as adorable as your shirts - and in the sizes I needed! The Boutique Mommy offered just what I was looking for and I am looking for more occasions to order again!
Thank you!" -Leah Mitchell

"I have to tell you EVERYONE LOVED all the clothes you made for Isabella and Anthony. On Friday, I took the kids to the Grand Floridian to have breakfast with Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. The entire staff could not get over how gorgeous Isabella's outfit was. Everyone had such nice things to say about it.
Then on Saturday we had the party at the house and she wore both outfits. Then I showed everyone the Halloween tutu and t-shirts and they could not get over how cute everything is and how creative you are." -Ann Marie Edwards

"I wanted to THANK YOU sooooooooooooo much for the dresses and for the fast shipment. I didnt have that worry on my shoulder. My daughter went crazy when she saw it. She really loved it. They were both so nice and everyone loved them!!! She wore it two days in a row after the party not to mention that it was dirty with juice and chips, but there was nobody that could make her take it off ....lol. It was too funny. Thanks again. You will definitly hear from me again and family members!! Take care." -Raquel Tejada

Parker Weekly....

Whew, the past two weeks have been a crazy blur!!  We had Jordyn's 1st birthday party, Jules' dance recital, company visiting & Father's Day!  I slowed down a bit the past two weeks to be able to do the personalized towels we gave as party favors to those that joined us for Jordyn's party and then last week I worked on the rest of the large cruise order I had finishing it up :)

This week I am back to work on some orders again!  Below are some of the items that I worked on last week....

I did some circus items along with the cruise items for the same customer :)  We did an embellished birthday hat to go with the circus birthday shirt done the week before.  The tutu, although hard to tell in the picture, is glitterific with an enhancement of glitter = fabulous!   Also, I did some ribbon enhanced flip flops and socks.  In addition, I updated the Tinkerbell fabric I was using so this is the new dress!

Back to some order this week!  Hope you all are having a great one!

Parker Weekly....

WOW, what a busy, fun, celebration filled week.  It was Jules' last day of her 2 day school program, my birthday, Jordyn's 1st birthday and Jules' dance recital dress rehearsal!  BUSY but fun!

We went to Animal Kingdom and had breakfast with Donald at Tusker House for Jordyn's birthday and spent the rest of the morning there before coming home for cupcakes and water table fun!  You can see Jules' updo as we went to her dress rehearsal and the picture of her striking a pose for her last day of school picture :)   We had a great weekend!

With all the festivities and now preparing for the 1st birthday party I haven't gotten as much work done but did get these items done...

I started working on a circus birthday order and here you can see the birthday boys shirt along with one for his sister.  I did some 4th of July samples, finally put together the pieces of the bows for the cruise order and a cute UCF themed shower baby gift :)

Hope you all have a fantastic week - this week we will be finishing up party favors for Jordyn's party and doing prep for the big 1st birthday rainbow party!

Parker Weekly....

Hope everyone had a fabulous week!

Lots of fun was had this week -- a fun birthday pirate shirt, some girl onesies, a zebra ensemble, a burp cloth, some 'Punzel shirts given as a best friend birthday gift and a boy monogram matching set for some of our favorite brothers as part of their birthday gifts :)  It was a busy week and this week I am working on the finishing touches of the Disney cruise items, favors for my daughters upcoming birthday and some 4th of July shirts!

We had a fun weekend with some exciting birthday pictures for Jordyn from the wonderful Jessica Rae Johnson Photography  -- these are just some that were taken on my phone during the cake smash and as you can see Jules jumped right in when we gave her the go ahead.  The other picture is of Jules covered in red paint -- my aunt called and I talked to her for 5 minutes while Jules was painting her treasure chest and this is what she looked like :)

Make it a great week!

The Easy Memory Box...

We all have things that we wish we were better at and one of mine is memory keeping.  Don’t get me wrong – I keep sentimental clothing and ultrasound pictures but I don’t keep a journal or even keep up with the baby book as well as I would like.

I remember a few years ago we went to visit my sister in law and she is so good at this – she has her journal right out on her counter so she can write little messages to her daughter about what happened, her milestones, etc.  I have tried doing that a few times and it worked for me for a week and then would realize a month later that I hadn’t done it so I gave up.

I was on Pinterest (of course) and saw this idea as a picture (the link was broken so they may have done this is a little different).

This is so simple!  I just got some notecards (I got larger than index size) and then in a corner write the date (just month and day) on each one.  To start I just did May & June because I felt overwhelmed by the thought of writing 365 index cards out at one time.  When the end of June approaches I will do the next month and be ready.   Once you have this done you write the year on one of the lines and what happened that day and then move it to the back.  Do the same thing for every day and then next year you will add the 2013 line and what you did.  This seemed manageable to me – I created this last week and I am still doing it so that is the right direction.

The original picture I saw had these set up as a book type thing with d-rings but I couldn’t logistically think how I could get something so thick binded so I used a photo box that I had that I was not using.

Self confession  -- I showed this to my mother in law when she came over and she said that is cute but isn’t it 2012?  OOPS – I was writing 2011 as you will see by my picture which I have changed now so just be sure you remember the year :)

Parker Weekly....

Happy Memorial Day -- thank you very much to those who have and are serving our country -- as I explained it to Jules yesterday on the simplest of terms she put it best -- "I think I thank you that keep us safe :)".

We had a whirlwind of a week!  We had school activities with Jules, waterpark fun and new countertops installed, so not much work got done but it was a productive week.

Sometimes, I just think my kids are crazy!  The first picture is just a random shot that Jeremy got during silly time before bed and this is how they are all the time -- they are certainly best friends and it warms my heart more than you could ever imagine!  Then, you will see a crazy shot of Jordyn -- I was cooking dinner and she was awfully quiet so I peeked around the island and this is what I found -- I just laughed then of course Jules spotted her and said that she needed to have a pre dinner snack of chips too!   We had waterday at Jules' school and she was a little timid of the slip n slide at first but then she jumped in and loved it.  The last picture -- this is Jules' bedroom about 4pm -- my kids have a playroom jam packed full of toys and 80% of the day this is the mess they  make in Jules' bedroom.  They pull everything in there, including the sheets from my bed all within the 10 minutes it took me to make dinner!  How is it even possible?!

I had a lack of work this work and mostly because I was preparing for this kitchen demo / install -- had to empty all the cabinets and because we had crazy tile countertops they had to demo the day before so we tried to make due for the 24 hours without a kitchen so things were just a litle crazy!  BUT, we love how they have turned out so far...

We still have to pick out a backsplash which we are working on but so far so good!

I did get a few things done and a few more that I just forgot to photograph....

Have a great week!
