"We got the package today. LOVE IT!!! Gabby tried it on immediately and like I guessed, didn't want to take it off. I am so excited for her to wear it to her birthday party!" -Lauren Goodman Schultz

"Hi! I got the shirts yesterday. They are so cute. I love them! I have looked everywhere for cute big sister and little sister shirts and could not find anything as adorable as your shirts - and in the sizes I needed! The Boutique Mommy offered just what I was looking for and I am looking for more occasions to order again!
Thank you!" -Leah Mitchell

"I have to tell you EVERYONE LOVED all the clothes you made for Isabella and Anthony. On Friday, I took the kids to the Grand Floridian to have breakfast with Alice in Wonderland and the Mad Hatter. The entire staff could not get over how gorgeous Isabella's outfit was. Everyone had such nice things to say about it.
Then on Saturday we had the party at the house and she wore both outfits. Then I showed everyone the Halloween tutu and t-shirts and they could not get over how cute everything is and how creative you are." -Ann Marie Edwards

"I wanted to THANK YOU sooooooooooooo much for the dresses and for the fast shipment. I didnt have that worry on my shoulder. My daughter went crazy when she saw it. She really loved it. They were both so nice and everyone loved them!!! She wore it two days in a row after the party not to mention that it was dirty with juice and chips, but there was nobody that could make her take it off ....lol. It was too funny. Thanks again. You will definitly hear from me again and family members!! Take care." -Raquel Tejada

Strawberry Picking!

The girls and I joined some friends at Pappy’s Strawberry Patch in Oviedo this past week and had some fun, got a few good laughs and got some great strawberries!

We got there and the girls got their own containers, picked their isles and started the picking.  They picked down one isle and then Jules & Kiley needed to show Taylor the cows and they ran to the back where there is a fence that separates the strawberry patch and some cows.  They ran around in this dirt area for a while and had a blast!

We went on a cooler day and it must have recently rained because it was muddy – poor Kiley was running with the girls when she lost her shoe! This gave us all a good laugh – kids will be kids!

Strawberry picking is apparently hard work for the little ladies because they all needed a snack after they were done!

I’ve taken Jules to the strawberry patch several times this year and last and she has a great time each time!  I highly recommend it for the family or with a group of friends.  The first time that we went someone suggested to bring a pair of scissors so I always do now and it is a little easier for Jules to do the picking—just a suggestion to bring with you if you remember!

The strawberries are really fresh and you purchase the strawberries by the pound. They have a recorded line that you can call each night and then will tell you if they will be open the next day and the times they are available…407.366.8512 and they also have an official facebook fan page https://www.facebook.com/pages/Pappys-Patch-U-Pick-Strawberries-Offical-Page/349267811756813?sk=info

Enjoy your strawberries!

Valentine's Day Pictures

With Valentine’s just around the corner I wanted to share some super cute Valentine pics that the awesome Jessica Rae Johnson Photography captured of my precious girls……

If you are looking for photos we highly suggest Jessica – she is super easy to work with and really works around the kids instead of expecting them to pose.  She chases them around while they are being themselves and captures some great images of who they are!  She is a mom of three little ones as well so she understands and is very patient with the kids during the session.

She is a natural light photographer so she takes her pictures outside and the session are usually right before sunset or in the morning just after sunrise.

This particular session that we did was one of her mini sessions which was quick and the kids had fun!

You can visit her website at www.jessicaraejohnson.com or by email, jessica@jessicaraejohnson.com

Letter B

As part of our weekly letter learning we focused on the letter B this past week!

Footprint Bee

We started by making foot print bee’s – let me start by saying that Jules thought this was the most fantastic thing ever!  We have done foot and hand print things before at Gymboree art but never at home so she thought it was great!  Before I started I was sure to get all the supplies set up (including a box of wipes) so I didn’t have to leave her once her foot was painted.

Then, we painted her foot and had her step on a piece of paper – she wanted to do both feet so we did two pieces of paper..

We also used her thumb and index finger prints for the eyes.  Since we had two bee’s I did one and did the steps first and then she did hers once she saw what I was doing…

Finished products…

Hot Air Balloon Worksheet

We also did a hot air balloon paper craft that I found online and printed out that involved cutting so that was all she focused on.  She just recently got her first pair of kid scissors that she is allowed to use and she literally just wants to cut paper all day long!

I liked this craft because it involved the cutting out of the shapes (which I had to tape together because she cut in half!) and then matching them on the balloon!  We also added some cotton balls as clouds but as you can see she got bored with that I guess…

Sensory Box

We also did a sensory box this week and I could only think of bulldozers so we got some bulldozer and other assorted machines that came in the set and made a sand sensory box.

Fair warning the sand does not stay in the box and it was messy but a few times with the vacuum and you would never know!

Butterfly Cupcakes

Last thing we did was an ATTEMPT at butterfly cupcakes.  I am not a chef or have an imagination in the kitchen so it is usually a little trying for me but most times you can at least tell what we were going for ….not so much this time

I just did a search for the cupcake link to provide to you in case you want to see what they were supposed to look like and try it and saw it was a Martha Stewart idea – no wonder it didn’t look the same! HERE is what I was going for…ha!

Happy letter learning!

Brevard Zoo

Looking for a fun activity to do – head to the Brevard Zoo with the family!  We went a few weekends ago and had a blast!  It was a little chilly the day we went and I was nervous the animals wouldn’t be out but it was really the opposite and saw some animals we hadn’t seen before.   If your children love animals than this is the place for you…….

We fed Giraffes..

Fed some deer…

Saw a super active monkey exhibit (we have about 100 pictures of these monkeys because Jules REALLY wanted a picture with them)…

Jules touched some sea creatures including a hermit crab...

They have a really neat play area that has a fun cave and a petting zoo with goats and llamas.

Petting Zoo

Jordyn enjoyed herself too…

There were many things that we didn’t get to experience while we were there – the splash pad for warmer days looked awesome!  We also didn’t take the train ride that took you around the park.  But, we had such a great time that we bought an annual pass which lets us go back all year and get a 50% discount on many other zoos including Sanford and Jacksonville.  If you are looking for a fun outdoor activity before it gets too hot …check out the zoo!
